This book reflects the simple bliss in life. It depicts a bright and sunny day in spring, as Happy and Joy takes us along for an exciting adventure, describing their fun-filled activities at the park. Bubble letters are used to highlight the focus words through out the story. The creative vision for Happy Island Books was inspired by and brought to life through John Carl's seven year old daughter Destiny J. Martin, who assisted in creating the characters and establishing the art direction for their books. The characters of Happy Island Books were created and evolved from the flag of Barbados.
