Using Mandalas & Art Symbols For Creative Block Healing: A Scientifically Proven Quantitative Study

This book is a quantitative research study that was Scientifically proven significant. This study was conducted by art director/art therapist, who personally experienced creative blocks. The researcher used the MARI®, an art-therapy assessment tool, as the 'treatment' to determine the underlying causes in creative block. This study shows a connection between defense mechanisms and the symbols created in the subjects' artwork. It also shows a connection between the symbols artists resonate with and the thought process in their thinking patterns.
