Dr. James, a mild-mannered chemistry professor, finds himself deep in trouble when he is assigned to teach “Vampire Science”. Despite his non-belief in this superstitious nonsense, there are vampires after all! Worse still, they are slowly taking over the university and the city. The mayor's plan to solve the city's homeless problem by having the vampires take care of them is working wonderfully. Finding himself allied with a beautiful, yet strange – she has a little “werewolf problem” - federal marshal, he struggles to survive – caught between ravenous vampires and a drug gang run out of the law school.
