Studio Magazine Issue 4: The Chicago Issue

Studio Magazine is the international magazine about making places – the places where ideas are born, designs are crafted and beautiful things are made. The content is far-reaching, profiling studio spaces from around the world – New York to Auckland, Paris to Melbourne. And across a wide range of creative fields – graphic designers to furniture makers, architects to artists. Alongside indepth interviews invited studios submit images and and answer a set of questions to uncover the intricacies of their space – Where do your guests sit? Are there any studio rituals? Show us your books! The result is a revealing peak inside the highly curated spaces that creatives choose to inhabit. Issue 4 goes on tour to Chicago. Chi-town is the heart of Midwest America and boasts a tight knit creative community. In this issue Zoe Ikin and Sam Trustrum speak to VSA Partners, IDEO Chicago, 37signals, Plural and print designers Sonnenzimmer. Other contributors include 3st, Legacy Frameworks, Pitchfork Media and The Post Family. Studio Magazine is designed and edited out of curiosity, by three graphic designers from Auckland, New Zealand.
