“This book caught my attention from the very first page...I was hooked and the characters were explained so that they all were in my mind. Anytime an author has the ability to have you playing out the scenes in your mind like a movie then you know they have the gift of wording. I truly enjoyed this book because it was different from what I was expecting. The ladies were faced with all different kinds of challenges and it was nice to see that Ms. Patterson had one of the ladies make a complete 360 from what she was used to and she had her ease into that role so beautifully. I could see this book becoming a more than one time read from me....I'm tempted to start this book all over again because it was a change of pace from all the drug dealing cussing thug killing books! I applaud you Ms. Patterson to me this could easily become a hood classic with an unpredictable storyline! I'm waiting and hoping for a part 2. This book tugged on almost every human emotion. It had me cracking up at times, shaking my head in pity at other times, sad, and even angry at still, other times.
