Jade: The Riddle of the Forest

Just months after her mother's mysterious disappearance Jade sees her father taken by a blacker than black cave that comes to life. Her only relative, Uncle Gordy and his lazy, video game playing twin sons show up to sell the only home Jade has ever known. All hope seems to be lost. Things are only made worse when no one believes her troubling story. Soon a runaway boy enters her life and tries to convince her that the black cave is a gateway to another world, where her mother and father may still be alive along with his good friend who was taken in a similar incident. And like Jade, nobody believed him. In fact the authorities accused him of murder. Should she believe the boy? Is he crazy? Is he a murder? Is he right? The choice enters her life like an F5 tornado and changes it in fantastic ways she could never have imagined. And soon a solemn responsibility falls upon her shoulders, one that she does not ask for but must choose whether to accept, or allow many others, indeed, possibly a whole world to suffer.
