In George Müller, The Modern Apostle of Faith, Frederick Warne chronicles George Müller's transformation from an incorrigible youth who cared for little other than his own self gratification to the devout man of God who cared for the needs of thousands of youths. The book gives the reader a deep insight into Müller's heart of believing. Much of the book is written using Müller's own words with excerpts from his diary entries, as well as addresses on numerous subjects pertaining to the Christian's walk. The detailed, precise accounting of how every sum of money was received and spent exposes the daily challenges that Müller faced – ones that certainly would overwhelm a man of lesser faith. But the only way that Müller was brought to his knees was in the posture of prayer as he turned to his Father God and saw the victory through His faithful provision.
