The Thirteenth Key

They come from across the globe, thirteen individuals representing all of mankind. Each has special powers or skills. None of them know why they have been selected, or why they must gather in the remote Amazon jungle. They only have one thing in common: each possesses an old key.

At forty, Thomas stands out from the twelve teens and young adults in the group. He alone knows their mission: to open an ancient portal between the dimensions. Thomas doesn't know how or why, however, and has no intention of leading the newly formed team.

Searching for clues to their true purpose and the artifacts needed to reach their goal, the team travels the world. As they do, it becomes apparent something is mobilizing forces against them, something powerful enough to influence elite government agents.
