Tests, Scans and Extraction, Oh My!

This is the story of my unbelievably special mother's journey. She was seemingly healthy and strong until January (2012). When she said she felt like she caught a cold or flu accompanied by a nasty ear infection that just would not go away. She went to the doctor and was prescribed antibiotics but alas, the symptoms persisted. Concerning test results led to more and more tests until her doctor revealed his suspicion of Multiple Myeloma.
