A Collection of Short Stories

56 short stories covering a broad spectrum of ground including the ironically absurd, hysterical and surreal while evoking moments of joy and triumph as well as facing the somber underpinnings of mortality and the mysteries they entail. All writings to some degree reflect the writer themselves, as I have tried on many occasions to paint myself in a corner then turn about and face the mirror. Sometimes I end up having a good laugh at my own expense, other times the reaction reflects the moment of the day, but always strive in the end to be honest in my appraisals. On many occasions I find myself playing the devil’s advocate to offset the prevailing presumptions while other times I simply throw up my hands and let the cards fall where they may. In any event I have done my best to push the envelope, think outside the box and call a spade a spade in the hopes of slaying the clichés, premises and long held conclusions of this thing called life.
