My Delicious Year: 366 Days of Writing, Recipes and Sheer Panic

On December 21, 2011 I woke up and expected a miracle. I had a crazy idea and looked to my lovely wife to bring me to my senses – this would have been the miracle. I told her that I had an idea: I wanted to write a recipe a day for a year. Her response, “That’s a great idea”, so much for the miracle. On January 1, 2012 I began writing every single day for a year, posting my recipes, missives, rants, research and ridiculousness on a wordpress formatted blog called “Table 366”. The not-so-clever title came from the title of my first cookbook, Table for One and, since I picked a leap year, hence the 366. These are those words in print. I hope you enjoy reading it and cooking from it as much as I did writing and creating the recipes.
