Dark Flower

Melantha, a genie born at the height of the Roman empire, is the last of her powerful clan. Born a slave, she gains her freedom and along the way meets famous historical women and counts Zenobia, Boudicca and Hua Mulan among her friends. Captured and separated from her lover by the genie Iblis and forced to serve him, Melantha rebels and is sealed in a box as punishment. In modern times, she is rescued by an anthropologist who at first wants to study her, then wants to possess her, but Melantha never gives up searching for her true love.
