Frostbite: A horror story by R.L. Nielsen (Volume 1)

Frostbite chronicles the terrifying final days of an oil expedition stranded deep within the Alaskan wilderness. A shoulder injury forced Renold Dunston to abandon his dream of becoming a professional baseball star. In a fallback career, he takes a job in the remote wilderness outside Buckland, Alaska on an oil drilling expedition. A self-admitted adrenaline junkie, Renold likes a good scare, but soon discovers there are events taking place that are more terrifying than he ever imagined. An accident destroys the oil rig and opens a hole to an underground cavern. In the dead of winter, the abyss continues to grow swallowing the temporary-housing units one by one. Storms and an act of sabotage prevent the trapped workers from rescue. In a turn for the worst, mind-altering monsters emerge from the abyss and begin hunting the crew.
