When Jules loses his wife to cancer, he also loses his will to live. Climbing a mountain to end it all, he sees a beautiful meadow below and images of the Lincoln Log cabin of his youth draw him back to life. With support from his only friend, he sets about realizing that dream. In the process he rediscovers how life can begin again.
