Game Over

"The Game is the illusion that the entire world is simply a game. It is the trapping of a child's or a person's mind to believe that life's primary goal is to play The Game--a game that must be won." Torin is the first to be raised under the guidelines of The Game but only enters at the age of 15. It's not an illusion, not when he has a pile of pamphlets detailing Game strategies on his desk, not when his first point scored shoots his nerves flying and sends the constant itch in his fingers away. But how is The Game played? Torin is winning, but there must be losers in this reality, too.
