Dobbo's Most Boring Holiday

Colin Dobson (usually known as Dobbo) is to spend part of his summer holiday with his estranged father, an eminent Egyptologist, in the land of the pyramids. Although he will be accompanied by his lively Geordie school-friend Max, he is certain that this will be the most boring holiday he has ever endured. However, when a strange bottle-like artefact is found near to the Great Pyramid the holiday becomes anything but boring. The two thirteen-year-olds and Dobbo's father become linked with the problems of another world light-years away.
