Reverse Midas Touch

Recently hired as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the ultra-posh Midas Touch, one of Las Vegas’ most exclusive casinos, Terry Handren, once again, is drawn into helping Lieutenant Rogers and Sergeant Rodriguez of the Las Vegas Police Department solve a major crime. When well-organized criminals extract $25 million from the five major casinos, the hunt is on. The ensuing chase leads the police and Handren into some of Las Vegas’ seedier establishments. There, they encounter and battle against the colorful lowlifes who inhabit such places. Along the way, a very determined, vicious, remorseless killer frustrates the investigation by permanently eliminating key suspects. Throughout, the objective of the investigation is to get the perpetrators to display a reverse Midas touch, whereby they convert their ill-gotten gold into the steel bars of a prison cell.
