Data Mining A Crash Course for Scientists and Engineers

The book is based on a course on Data Analysis for Engineers and Scientists. The approach is very different from standard text book, it is very computer oriented (Excel) and top down approach; one learns to use the tools before one understands all the mathematical details. There are 25 lectures, each carefully chosen and classroom tested. The students appreciation was phenomenal. Circa, 80-90% of students that had put some effort managed to gain useful, workplace ready knowledge.
