Intellectual Property Clinic Manual

This book combines theoretical teachings with practical realities. In essence, it teaches how to work effectively in all aspects of intellectual property, including dealing with clients, drafting applications, responding to office actions, among other items. The focus of this manual is to teach a little bit very thoroughly. This is intentional. The Clinic does not provide services for every aspect of patents or trademarks - it only provides the fundamentals. But the hope is that by mastering such fundamentals, you can be in a position to learn and master any additional concept and/or skill in IP law thereafter. Much like construction, this manual will assist you in creating a solid skill base. The goal is that 50 years from now, you will look back and see that such skills assisted you in building a successful career in IP law.
