All around us we find Christians who are totally defeated, without hope, ineffectual and wounded. It appears that evil is winning in every avenue of life. People are leaving the church in droves. Where is the victory? Where is the power? Where is the true church? Where is the burning desire to evangelize? The salt of the earth has lost it savor, its drive and its power. What happened to this once powerful force which changed the world? Today’s churches have the form but no power. The church has been lulled into a deep sleep of apathy and self-indulgence. We must fall on our faces and cry out to the Lord and beg for a great revival of the remnant and return to New Testament Christianity.
