Celyse (Volume 1)

Celyse has spent thirteen years as a prisoner in a research area called the Habitat while trying to piece together her origins. She is haunted by a dream that offers only hints of where she came from, and weekly sessions with an unsympathetic therapist bring her no closer to answers. Celyse knows she's special, but she doesn't realize just how special until she's slated for termination. Robbie is Celyse's best friend. Her only friend. He is also an android, programmed to analyze her and report his findings back to the mysterious Leadership. Robbie is just one of dozens of androids who populate the Habitat, but he is the only one capable of recognizing the fault in the Leadership's treatment of Celyse. Major Thomas Hanover is tasked with watching over Celyse, though their paths have never crossed. Hanover is a Marine running away from his past while simultaneously trying to relive the best parts of it. He is a loner, a man with a broken heart and a tarnished soul, seeking salvation through his work, yet committed to isolation. These three will join together on a journey for freedom, for humanity, for redemption. They will fight for their very survival against enemies who will stop at nothing to ensure their destruction. They will discover truths that will alter their perceptions of their own identities, as well as their understanding of their places the universe.
