A young girl orphaned when a hit and run driver kills her mother, a retired detective haunted by an unsolved murder, a recently divorced woman, a young family whose dreams are shattered when the bank forecloses on their business, a grieving husband, a lifelong criminal living on borrowed time and a young businessman who has bought a hotel in the Cotswolds. Nine people brought together by the hand of fate.
