Juliette of the Streams

Upper East Side actress Julie Glacier (16) and new-guy-in-town Rom Orion (17) meet and fall in love at first sight. Julie dismisses Rom’s claim that he came to New York from an alternate-world called Illyria. Other than that weird trait, the guy’s perfect. The lovers can thank Father Adrian—Julie’s priest, surrogate father and the hero who brought them together. All’s well until Father Adrian brings tragic news. Rom’s family in Illyria has been slaughtered by the insane King. Rom forsakes Julie and returns home to seek revenge. Julie is crestfallen. More disastrous news travels swift and hard. Rom has been captured and is being tortured by the wrathful King. Julie begs Father Adrian to take her to Illyria. She tells him, “I love Rom. I would die for him.” The priest consents to help Julie. For her to travel to Illyria, she must struggle through a bizarre stream of ions made up of earth, wind and fire. Her trip ends at the exit of a haunted cave, where Julie will enter Illyria’s world. There she will encounter her past and hail her fiery destiny.
