Sparks: Igniting Transformation in Education for All Students

Sparks is a compendium of theories of action to transform the education sector, written by twenty-four educators in the fifth cohort at the Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Doctorate of Education Leadership program. We hope it brings to life the vibrant discussion we created through our convergences, divergences, experiences, and beliefs in the fall of 2014. This book memorializes our first professional collaboration. We hope these chapters spark discussion, debate, and, ultimately, action.
