The Boy Who Studied Football

Albert is an amazingly intelligent 10 year-old who has just joined a new school. Soon after joining he finds himself being bullied by Damien, the school's book-hating thug. Together with five new friends, the boys challenge the bullies to see who can do best in the local 6-a-side football competition. The only problem is that Albert has never played football before, thinking that careful studying of books about football should be all he needs for his team to win. He quickly finds out that's not how you build a successful football team... NOTE: This book is targeted at children aged 7-12 reading alone or children aged 5-8 being read to by a parent, although hopefully it can be enjoyed by other ages as well!
