Medicinal Plants: Study of Anticancer Properties

This book deals with the medicinal plants having anticancer properties. Those plants which show anti-cancer activities are often rich in Phenolic compounds and various alkaloids and anti-oxidant compounds. In this book there is collection of those medicinal plants which shows anti-cancer properties and few are used as established drug. The various alkaloid and aromatic compounds responsible for such anti-cancer properties are discussed in this preview. About 30 plant derived compounds have been isolated so far and are currently under clinical trials. This book might be of interest for researchers and Undergraduate and graduate students studying plant science and aromatic medicinal plants for cure of various diseases like cancer.
