A Legal Writing Workbook For Pre-Law Students

The exercises in this workbook—and the course website that complements it at: www.EarnestLegalWriting.wordpress.com—have been uniquely designed to teach the type of composition writing law schools find most beneficial for law students. However, the instruction offered here is not only beneficial for prospective law students, but also for paralegal and the new (and growing) Limited Licensed Legal Technicians students as well. Law schools generally differ from other traditional professionals schools (e.g., medical and business schools) by not having specific required courses. As a result, first year law students often feel woefully ill-prepared for the writing rigors of law school. The exercises in this workbook are aimed at alleviating that problem.
