Merc Work

Merc Work is the exciting sequel to the Sixth Pillar and Intelligence Agent Mark Weston. Having foiled the terrorist plot in the US, new forces are at work overseas and their target is Mark Weston himself. Having reconciled with his wife she and her FBI partner John Beers have been sent to Pakistan to retrieve a radical cleric for trial in the US, but it is a trap and they are kidnapped in order to bring Mark to the isolated Pamir Mountains of Pakistan for some unknown reason. Mark Weston with his regular list of mercenaries which include a Russian ex-KGB Colonel a Pakistani drug lord a mountain witch and a ruthless Pashtun Princess search for his wife and her partner while his adopted Japanese parents take on the Japanese Yakuza Crime Syndicate who also have an interest in Mark Weston. A prologue will get new readers up to speed before dropping them off in the middle of Pakistan.
