Suck It Up Buttercup

When our daughter was diagnosed with a medical condition commonly known as kidney reflux, I was completely caught off guard. I had sent my son to preschool with two different shoes on the week before...twice! How was I ever going to be able to handle this? And who thought it was a good idea to put me in charge anyway? Over the years, I've learned so much, and I've gotten some great advice about surviving the journey. The best advice so far? Suck it up buttercup! You can go through trials laughing or crying...but you've still gotta go through them. Why not laugh when you can? This is the story of us. How we've laughed, how we've cried, how we may or may not have thrown a temper tantrum in here and there. But most of all it's a story about a little girl's triumph despite all the odds, and a mother just trying to make it through the day.
