The Warrior Gene

Jake and Bruce are two Marines who are best friends in the Vietnam era. One is good and one is very, very bad. They go to war together. Their wives have some unusual events take place back home while they are gone. One of these men comes home wounded. The other one follows his destiny and becomes famous. The book has fraud, murders, mayhem, the Mafia, a monk, a little boy, a white dog, a Senator and a campfire in which the past can be seen by one of the warriors. The story asks the ultimate question...are we all warriors in life?
