Tenascin C in Breast Cancer

The extracellular matrix molecule Tenascin C (TNC) in its many isoforms is highly expressed in tissue repair and pathological conditions such as chronic inflammation, cancer and mechanical stress in tumors. With this abilities it may be a promising target in breast cancer therapy.
