Praying for Chaos
Description
"Jinn demolish a state and a woman laughs a lot!" This novel is about a curse that causes everything to be convoluted. This curse extends from Istanbul to Balkans and hits the world’s order. The expected earthquake of Istanbul occurs and the survivor people revolt against all states and powers. In this book, there are jinn in cooperation with the state’s spies; Chapullers who decided to reset the Earth’s clock; Bosniaks who draw a parallel between Heaven and earthquakes; Serbs who are apologetic for nothing; Armenians who try carefully to understand the truth; Bergsonists who try to reach out to the truth by the intuitional way. All aside, an eagle there's in the book who took an oath in the book to tell you things he sees, and a snake as a symbol of freedom, then the ancient Greek muses who keep imposing themselves on human beings. Before the earthquake a young woman named Elma living in Istanbul seeks after a picture. This picture is the face of a man who was an Armenian and Paulician. This man was a follower of an old Armenian-Christian sect named Paulicians that had come out in the 6th century and lived in anarchist way in Anatolia. He was a compadre of a revolutionist priest Bogomil who took Balkans by storm once upon a time and tried to found Heaven in this world. Bogomil wrote the book of the universe and drew this Armenian-Paulician man’s awesome face on the last page of his book. Why does Elma the main character of this novel seek this picture? What agreement does a man named Cigan, who fell in love with her, make with jinn? Is the picture buried under the Galata Tower in Istanbul? What will happen when it’s found? Will Chaos laugh? What is the Laugh of Chaos? Is it a project of destruction? Will all states be demolished by humanity after the earthquake? If you are the one who lets Chaos demolish your order and create much more complicated new one, then this is the book just for you.
