Gallery of Life Lessons: Every educational journey should be filled with Life Lesson Pit-Stops

“Life imitates art far more than art imitates life” – Oscar Wilde. It was 1889 when Oscar penned this famous quote. Essentially, it means that people do not appreciate the finer aspects of life until the artists have painted it and the poets have written about it. Well that is what I have set out to do. Contained in my first book are my most treasured Life Lessons that I teach to graduate students at a Delaware University. These are the exact “primitive” drawings I sketch out on the blackboard and smart-board. It gets their attention. I give them a few minutes to figure it out. Once they have heard and seen their first Life Lesson, they are eager for more. This book is first dedicated to and targeted at Graduate & Undergraduate Students & Teachers. However, if you are a STUDENT of any age or a TEACHER of any subject, you should find great pearls of wisdom to explore and share. Managers – you are included in this group too! One of your key responsibilities is to teach, inspire, and encourage (I call this the TIE concept) your workforce. So go – imitate the ART contained in this book.
