One average young woman must learn to protect a gifted Seer but fortunately she does have help from not one but two trained warriors, a genius doctor and a Romani witch... assuming they actually are on her side. A journey across the U.S. turns more deadly for a mismatched band of protectors as they try to shield a gifted young girl and also train her new guardian to fulfill an ancient prophecy. Their path is fraught with danger as others seek to steal the power and prestige of the prophecies from Nadya and Mia. Two powerful societies hidden underneath the surface of the civilized world come to light as battle lines are drawn and everyone will need to choose a side. Ancient Seers may have predicted the birth of the gifted little girl and her equally gifted protector but no one could have foreseen the twists in their path.
