Cinderella and the Prince

Gabriella has a lot to cope with: the death of her father, a scheming step-mother, grumpy step-sisters and a lot of housework. Meanwhile, her childhood friend, James, becomes heir to the throne, but his life is threatened by the unscrupulous nobleman, Roland. Gabriella is called upon to save James's life, deal with an upset at her step-sister's wedding and try to thwart Roland's plans. In turn, Prince James has to discover the sort of life Gabriella is leading, unravel the mystery of her step-mother's life and prevent Gabriella from being kidnapped if they are to live happily ever after. A twist in the tale changes everything. In the midst of this the Queen arranges a ball and Gabriella loses a shoe . . .
