When I wrote my first book, Launch, Grow and Make Money! – Become a Home Inspector, I wanted to share my success story of starting a business at the bottom of the recent real estate downturn and growing it to more than 400 inspections annually three years later. That book focused on what it takes to become a successful home inspector. Now, for my second book I wanted to give some advice to buyers, sellers and real estate agents. The book that you are about to read is intended to help you better understand the scope of a professional home inspection. Each section also includes real life examples of inspection findings that we encounter most often. A checklist of issues to look for is also included at the end of each section.
