We are wired for competition. Our education system and organizations are inherently structured in favor of competition. And yet organizations exhort us to collaborate. How do individuals navigate in an environment that places them in such a conflicting situation? The decision making criterion is more important than the decision. How do we make choices when confronted with an easy and difficult option, and the easy option ‘seems’ to work better. Do we have it in us to create the organization of choice – an organization where everyone would love to work? Can such an organization be the instrument of societal change?
