UnGifted: My Life and Journey

Ungifted is the touching and humorous journey of Jim McAllister both through the competitive world of martial arts and everyday life. Born shortly after the war to working class parents, Jim struggled with a stutter, dyslexia and a terrible lack of co-ordination. With hard work and great tenacity Jim achieved a high standard in martial arts and went on to be one of the top names in his field. Jim believes we are all capable of achieving much more than we realise and this honest and personal account will leave you smiling and inspired.
