Letters Home: World War II Through a Soldier's Eyes

W. Scott Westerman, Jr. was 16 when news of the Pearl Harbor attack reached Gallia Academy High School. He decided to graduate early and complete a year of college before entering the US Army. This collection of Letters Home gives a sense for what life was like for a young soldier during the final years of World War II.
