Shadow Grove: Reflections through the natural art of budo. A compilation of works by Sleiman Azizi

Shadow Grove is a compilation of two works by martial artist and author, Sleiman Azizi. These works, Dancing Embers and Cloud Break, were written as aesthetic memoirs of lessons learnt through the martial arts. The seemingly random nature of the Japanese zuihitsu writing used in writing them help to offer the unique perspective that proper martial arts exist as an entirely natural phenomenon.
