My Story: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: preparation for my destiny

My story is truly one that is God inspired. I hope you walk away with only one thought and that is God is simply Amazing! Travel down this journey with me as I discuss some things that are often forbidden to discuss in in black households and communities. Also, as I share things that have hurt me, hindered me, but then God turned around and used for my healing. Therefore, it forces innocent children to carry this baggage into their adult life. This baggage is filled with hurts and if unresolved will eventually impact your health and prosperity in life. I hope that this book opens up the discussions in homes, hearts and communities. I hope it provides help and healing forcing us out of the denial and break curses that have plagued us over hundred years. My story isn t about how bad life had been to me or to bring hurt, blame or shame to anyone. But in all actuality just how AMAZING God had been, has been and continues to be in my life, in our lives. I have prayed, laughed, cried and faced some of my biggest hurts while writing this book. I can only hope and pray that it provides help, hope and healing for someone else. One day, I woke up and realized that God really loves me, it was like an epiphany. Why had I not seen this all those years? I encourage each of you to take a good look in the mirror and remind yourself each day, God really loves me, and don t underestimate the power of forgiveness. Lastly, I truly feel that until you can learn to praise and thank God for the good, the bad and the ugly in your life you are simply living and not thriving.
