Description
The Territories Saga Serials

The Territories Saga Serials are based on the old movie "cliffhanger" serial shorts which were popular in the first half of the twentieth century. Theaters would play short films, many of which were westerns, before the main feature. Into the West is the first saga serial in this new book collection. Each novella is written as a separate installment in the saga serial. Each saga serial is divided into 5-6 novellas. When the saga is complete, a single volume containing all the serial's novellas plus bonus material will be published. Titles are also currently available in hardcover and ebooks.

Into the West: A New Home  - Limited Edition
Part Two of the First Book in The Territories Saga Serials

This limited edition will only be available until July 28th, 2016. This volume includes both part one, Into the West: The Orphan Train, and part two, Into the West: A New Home.

When Into the West: The Orphan Train was originally released, it had numerous errors that were not caught in the editing process. To try to make it up to the readers who bought the original book with errors, Stephen wanted to make a new copy available without his readers having to buy a second book. With the pricing being set by the printhouses, Stephen was not able to make so that the first book was included in this volume for free, however, it is still significantly cheaper than buying a new stand alone copy.

The Story

Thanks to their case worker, Mrs. Kelly, Elizabeth and Conner MacBride make it onto the orphan train heading into the west. Mrs. Kelly is reluctant to part with the children as she struggles with the agreement she was forced to make with Sister Mary Clare to keep the children on the train.

If Mrs. Kelly keeps her promise, she will keep her job but she may break the hearts of Elizabeth and Conner in the process. As the train makes its final stop, Mrs. Kelly must choose, place the children with strangers or return them to the Catholic Foundling Aid Society's home in New York City under the direction of Sister Mary Clare, something she does not want to do.

Living in a small cowtown in the Kansas territory would be a new and frightening experience for Elizabeth and Conner but with the help of a few good people they might be able to make new lives for themselves. Will Mrs. Kelly have to sacrifice her job to do what she believes is best for the children or can she find a solution with which they can all live?
