Ohio's Frogmen and Melon Heads

For many years, a whole slew of weird monsters have crawled out of the cracks in the Ohio River Basin. In 1955, and then again in 1972, strange creatures crawled from the water onto the banks of the Little Miami River at Loveland, Ohio. Based on witness descriptions, those creatures became known as the Loveland Frogmen. Were they amphibians, reptiles, or extraterrestrials? No one knows to this day. In this book, the author ventures from Frogmen to Melon Heads as he explores the legend of some creepy critters that dwell in the forests of Northern Ohio, on up into Michigan, and in the New England State of Connecticut. Were they escapees from a mental asylum, victims of an unfortunate medical condition, or the product of ghastly experiments carried out by a man that called himself a doctor?
