Breaking the Chains. Bruno M. Cormier and the McGill University Clinic in Forensic Psychiatry

A two-volume, boxed set of tributes to and writings by celebrated forensic psychiatrist Bruno Cormier, who ran the McGill University Clinic and worked at New York's Dannemora State Prison for many years. Cormier was a long-time proponent of prison reform and methodology of rehabilitation and wrote extensively on such topics as psychopathic states and criminal behavior, ageing and the criminal process, the deprivation of liberty, the family, incest and pedophilia, the pathology of murder, and genoc ide. A leading light in forensic psychiatric research and widely celebrated, Dr Cormier passed away in 1991.
