How Girls Can Help Their Country: Handbook for Girl Scouts

Originally published in 1913, this is a facsimile reproduction of the first American Girl Scout Handbook. The author, a naturalist, included segments on ecology and physical fitness as well as references to the arts of "housewivery." In 1916, it was this book that was adapted by Juliette Low in a newer version of the Girl Scout Handbook.
