Group Communication: Process and Analysis

While groups are as unique as individuals, successful group dynamics are more generic as the tripartite analysis of Keyton (U. of Memphis) attests. Part I addresses the group from micro- and macro-system perspectives (e.g. its structure, environmental context, type, individual needs). Based on structuration theory, Part II discusses collective decision-making, leadership, and conflict management. Lastly, in/formal observation and feedback promote group development.
