U.S. Destroyers of the World Wars

This publication on US Destroyers was produced in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of World War II. It includes contributions from men who submitted photographs and historical material and was written by Richard Newcomb as a worthy salute to the Navy and those who served her. Contents take the reader from the Atlantic Beginning, to Pearl Harbor, the Solomons, the Central and Southwest Pacific, the Aleutians, the Philippines and Okinawa. There is a section that details US destroyer ship histories as well as veterans of destroyers. Photographs are in black and white.
