After Postmodernism: Austrian Literature and Film in Transition. (Studies in Austrian Literature, Culture, and Thought)

The surge of globalization and the digital revolution are bringing momentous changes to literature and film. With postmodernism as a point of departure, the contributions of this volume offer a critical view of the complex mosaic of contemporary Austrian literature and film.The essays range from a consideration of hybridity in Austrian architecture to reflections on Austria's most prodigious literary award, from discussions of ethnicity and gender to questions of identity to listserver interactions.
