Ethiopia is one of Africa's oldest nations, with a history of rulers, claiming to be descendents of the queen of Sheba, that dates back over 3000 years. Unlike most African countries, strong rulers helped Ethiopia to remain an independent nation for most of its history. Ethiopia is a diverse country, with eighty different ethnic groups that speak more than two hundred unique dialects.
