Application of HACCP for Distribution System Protection

This research report assessed the application of HACCP in a systematic manner for water utilities to control water quality risks as close to their sources as possible. With 5 participating utilities from around the world, it was determined that the development of the HACCP plan was useful in honing in on the most important risks and process controls for water quality management. This report will help assess the decision about whether or not to implement HACCP.
